Was there such thing as a Case Wheatland plow. I think I own one. That is what my grandfather tells me it is. I would like to know more info and see other pictures if there is any. I would like to know what color it is supposed to be and if there is a web site with info on about this plow. Would this plow be good in sage brush? Any info will help. Thanks Jason

Jason: Do you mean a disc tiller also known as a one-way, or a disc plough? Disc tiller would have a series of discs probably about 18 to 21 inches in diameter anout two per foot where a disc plough would have the same number of discs a moldboard plough would have for the size of the plough and they would be 24 to 26 inches in diameter. Case made both at one time and they would be coloured green and orange if made before 1960, orange after that. Is it on steel or rubber? Tom

Tom thanks for your information. This disk of mine has three steel tires. There are 12 disk on it. It also looks like it has red paint on some of it. I don't know if that was a part used from a diferent disk or what. If you could find anymore on it I would be very thankful. Jason

With 12 discs it has to be what is commonly called a "one-way". (short for one-way disc as opposed to a double-disc) Is is built quite heavy, lots of big castings and extra weights in the wheels etc? The ones I'm familiar with were very good for cutting into hard packed soil like places where trucks went several times loaded with grain in harvest time. The one-way would cut right in where a moldboard plow would just slide along on top.

Not sure about your plow, but I know the only good thing in sagebrush in a sage chicken...

Sorry, I couldn't resist
