I recently purchased a Woods BB840 rotary mower (bush hog) It"s a nice piece of equpment. Well built, smooth running, and cuts a nice clean field. I have one problem with it. The paint on the top deck is peeling in sheets. Almost the entire left side is down to bare metal. It looks like it wasn"t prepped or primed at the factory. I"ve sent Woods an e-mail, and I"m waiting for a reply. Also, as the paint peels, all the saftey decals, as well as the Woods BrushBull 840 decals have came off with the paint under them. has anyone else experienced a similar problem? I have other Woods equipment. I haven"t had any problems with them. Just the mower. Thanks for the help. John

I have a 6ft. woods with same problem. The paint & decals I purchased from Woods, because you can't buy the correct color paint off the shelf. They are great mowers but like all others the design flaw is you end up with compartments for accumalation of wet grass, weed seed ect. I don't know why they don't have a bubble top for rain ect to just roll off mower. But all that aside they are still the best mowers around.
