Can you pull a smaller round baler with a 35 hp tractor?

If so, what would you suggest?

Thanks

I pulled a Vermeer 504 with my Allis Chalmers WD (35 hp) for years over some steep ground. If you get one of these balers & don't have enough HP, you can have the gear box rotated 90 degrees which sets up the machine for a 1000 rpm PTO. When you use this with the 540 PTO it turns much slower, but with much less effort. I now have a Vermeer 403, which I use with a 65 hp tractor. I like the smaller bale, and I would think this would be a good set up for you. Again, the gear box rotation could be done if you wish. Mike
