i have been looking for a sickle mower and found a dearborn 14-59. i really wanted a belt drive with no pitman, but i somewhat like this mower. i have a minnie moe 445 that i will be using for a tractor, and want to convert this mower if i get it, to pull type and not 3 point. trouble is, someone cut the sickle bar down to 4 foot instead of the origianl 7 foot as they owned an orchard and needed the shorter bar. so, what bars can i use on this, and is it worth trying to put something together for it?

I have an MF mower with belt drive for sale. What part of the world are you in? Try my e-mail it's been working sometimes or call 612-328-1176. Thanks JohnG

I have a DearBorn Rear Attached mower that the bar is good on yet. That bar should bolt right up to yours. I would be willing to part with it for a small amount of cash. Let me know what you think.
