Can anyone tell me if an IH 100 sickle mower had a grass board on the end? The one I bought doesn"t, and I was curious if it originally had one.

If it did, does anyone have pictures of one, maybe even a source for the manual and/or parts catalog?

Thanks!

The original is a cast part that matches the circular portion of the outer shoe and has 3 steel bars to form the grass board. The operators manual does have pictures that show the grass board with only 2 steel bars. The manual states that inner shoe sole and grass rod required with packages of this mower but it isn't clear wheather the outer grass rod is part of this package. I do have an original operators manual and may be abe to make copies if you are unable to find one. Numbers on the manual are 1 007 493 R6 with a date of 10-25-63-4B I also have a conditioner hitch for this mower if you are interested.

Buck, send me an email if you would, [email protected]. I might be interested in that conditioner hitch.
