Found this puppy on Ebay. Was just 5 mi from the house. Looks to be in pretty good shape. Not a bad deal for 150 bucks.

Looks great Kelly!! My uncle gave me one of those a few years ago, but the bale chamber was pretty well rusted out. I ended up parting her out. Let me know if you need anything, I still have lots of parts left. On a side note, I just picked up a #30 combine to do some oats that we planted this spring. If you like custom baling, I'd recommend getting an old combine too. I have a few custom jobs already and have only owned the thing a few weeks. Seems nobody around here want's to fool around with a few acers. We were looking for somone to do ours, and ended up having to buy a combine. Glad we did though, it payed for it's self already :)

You too eh? I just bought a ROPS/canopy off a 2-85 white for my 1855 Oliver for $300. I read it in the paper and called and arainged to meet him at a tractor show today within 5 minutes. Got it in my truck right now. He said he could've sold a dozen if he had them, one guy said he paid $1500 2 months ago for one. I'm one happy camper, my Friday the 13th couldn't have gone any better.

You found one of the proverbial steals. Congratulations! I've seen these, looking not nearly as good, bringing $1000 at auctions here.

Kelly If she works good! Who cares, as long as you can get your customer finished up, on time, before a rain, Looks Like a bargian to me.
OBTW, A good spare baler in the barn, ready in a moments notice is a good thing. No matter the color. A green implement pulled by a red tractor is always good.
Later,
John A.

Just got done testing her out. Hooked up the 400 to her. Greased it up, Shined up the bill hooks and put in some new twine. Bales like a dream. Dont need to do a thing to it.

Kelly, check the slip clutch up front that it"s not stuck or worn out. Can"t tell just by looking from the outside, and you want it to be working right.
