Anybody know of a place to buy decals for implements. I've got an IH cornpicker and baler that I'm looking at painting and it would be nice to put the decals back afterwards.

I have a friend in the sign business. He says if I get him a good pic of the original decal and some measurments he can create whatever I need. So far I've not done anything. It's all I can do to keep all the equipment operating, much less looking new.

Some of the early McCormick decals are available. Check out Maple-Hunter. Sometimes you have to be creative and use the decal designed to go on the tractor hood side. The McCormick Deering or McCormick decals from the standard tread tractors work on some implements and can be bought seperate.

I'm with Rusty on this. When pinting something I try to get a pic and maybe a tracing plus dimensions. Local auto sign shop prints them up.

If the old decals are still visible you should take a good picture of them, preferably with a digital camera, and then find a sign-making company. They can make new decals.

I always include in the photo a good readable ruler, it helps in making reproductions to correct scale
