I have a chance to pick up an offset disc harrow for $250. Tag says it's made by Towner Tillage Tools in California. Model no 11-24, serial no 18G3400. Anyone hear of this company? Does this sound like a reasonable price? I don't see any obvious signs of abuse...just age. It confuses me (cause I'm stupid and thus easily befuddled) in that it appears to have a pivot point just above the lifting arm pins. Also, there are what appear to be two top link connections, one above the pins and the other about 18" behind and 6" above the first one. I can't figure out how to pick this thing up with a 3 point lift. The pivot causes the front to come off the ground but the back stays in the dirt. How should this thing be hooked up? Thanks.

While searching for information on the same problem with a Towner model H2120 Offset Disc Harrow I found a web site which has reprints of assembly and operating instructions for Dearborn Towner Offset Disc Harrow 11-16 thru 11-38.

There should be a bracket that bolts to the seat bracket. It stays with the tractor and this is what you hook the top link to.If you need it I can send a picture .
