Old wood wagon

Hey guys,
I am interested in an old wooden box wagon, has 4 rubber tires with metal spokes in decent shape, wagon has been painted, has the sides that get wider at the top....what should I expect to pay for somehting like this? A couple hundred? I dont know what name or brand it is? LOcated in Ohio.

Some of the old "prairie schooners", "conestogas", or other so called covered wagons had flared sides. The name usually is specific to a certain kind of wagon, but has gotten somewhat generic.

You may have such a conveyance that has been converted for parade use or other use with newer wheels.

As an example, we converted a horsedrawn hay rack
to spoked wheels with rubber tires. A local welder did the work. The axles, etc. are still the old wooden ones.

it sounds like you have found an old grain box--if the box is solid id say its interesting--i have seen metal ones in good shape bring $200-750. if it has a john deere running gear-it will bring on the upper end--depending on what you want to do with it--would ofcourse deteremine what its worth--
