A Fresno is like a box blade only longer and with two 14" or 15" wheels at the rear end of it. I've seen many of them but never used one. They say it will level a surface better than a box blade because it is more independant from the tractor. Usually there's a hydraulic top link connected to it that allows you to more easily fine tune the blade's cutting and scraping action.

I wish I knew more. Hope this helps

Your spelling is right if you mean the earth mover Fresno.

The Alamo Group bought Fresno many years ago. They used to mfg them in or near San Antonio. I think they moved the mfg to the Dallas area.

Here's the link for them but I did'nt take time to search for a Fresno.

Are you talking about a tractor, implement, tool, town, or automobile? Is it something you eat? Do you push it or pull it? Ride on it or walk behind it? There are so many possibilities.

I call a Fresno a long handled concrete trowel. I think the one I presently have is a Marshalton but I get the feeling that we ain't talkin about the same thing.
