My dad has recently acquired a Wood Bros. Corn picker. He would like to find a manual to it, if one exists and he would also like to know the years they were made and maybe find out what year his was. If I remember correctly the model # on his is 16-4 and the serial # is 2046 or 2076. I can"t remember but I can find out. If anyone has any information that may can help me find out this information for my dad or maybe where I can find a manual, I would really appreciate it. Thanks for any help.

From the model no. I would guess that you have the red version, made with the starting time of the 8N tractor, 1948 up thru the early 60'. Does it have a blower fan to blow away the chaff from the husking roles? Only the later ones do. then there was the galvanized version made from 1937 to 42? and the Grey version made from 43? to 48 that I have. I have a manual for the early red version but offhand do not know where it is to copy for you

I have a one row cornpicker that has been sitting in the pasture for 35 to 40 years and think it is a Wood-Bros. I have been thinking about pulling it out (after i cut down all the trees growing up through and around it)and getting it back into working condition. Don't think we ever had a manual for it. The picker is a one row pulltype, it was used to pick corn to feed cattle when it was muddy and could not get in the field with anything else. Let me know if you find a manual.
