I"ve got a IH model 46 baler that will not consistantly knot.the knots appear to be complete but slip loose before the bale exits completely.have taken most of it apart and cleaned everything nothing seems overly worn.I do not have a manual if someone has one maybe they could email me the applicable adjustments on the twisters.i"m using 9000 sisal.would the poly be better.ive adjusted to real light to heavy bales seems to have no effect.would sure like to have a photo of what there supposed to look like.if i cant get it going it may end up being scrap metal. thanks

Hi i have 2 46 parts machines and i run a 56 knotters are near identical dont know on sisal as i dont use it but does it have the custom knotter with the replaceable knife blades if so go to dealer and get new ones you can sharpen them till your blue in the face and think there sharp but still wont cut right also play with the billhook closing cam pressure make it a little tighter . if i can find my book and get the scanner to work ill send you a couple pages that may help good luck mike
