ford 501 sickle mower to kuboya b7500

Looking at purchasing a Ford 501 6' sickle bar mower with short pitman arm this will connect to Kubota B7500 tractor. Will this work and if it can what would be the modifications? Any help would be appreciated.

You may want to check things out your Kubota may have a cat "0" or "I" 3pt hitch which could have things out of line a bit for mounting . We made one for my dad's Kubota 2400(something like that?) from an old Hayban 5' garden-tractor belly mount mower using a PTO from an old Kuhns Bro's silo blower and made the 3pt to match the tractor.
I let a NICE small 3pt Hayban 6' go at an auction. still kick one's self for that one.

Why ruin a good piece of machinery ? Buy a Ford to mount the 501 to & stay original . Can't beat them Fords or the history behind them . Ken C

i put my 501 on my dads kubota 3010 it really didnt hook up well on that tractor if i was to run it any more on the 3010 i would get out the torch and welder to really modify it

When you say "really modify" what do you mean? Like just refab the braket that clamps on the right arm, or a real chop job?

I've had my eye on a 501 to hook up to Dads L4310.

it might fit the 4310 better becouse it may have different 3 pt arms on the 3010 the have such an angle on them it dont hook real well at all

Does the B7500 3pt have regular, striaght, normal length lower arms? A 501 needs to clamp onto the right lower arm, and it needs a fair amount of clearance between the arms for the pto, clamp, & break-away device. I think lower arms that bend in narrower (to get around the tires) might need a lot of thought & testing to see if that works.

I have a 501 here, & my BiL's 7100 sitting here, but dew should be off the oats in 10 minutes so no time today & don't really know what a B7500 is...

Paul, Thank you for your response. The Kubota model B7500 I have 4wd, 18 pto hp and regular curved lower arms.
