Identifing an IH mower

I have an IH pull-behind mower I am trying to identify. It has the following markings:

On a bracket which bolts to the tongue and holds the pto shaft - 4 IH followed by a square and the number 662022 RI

On the front of the case above the input shaft - 660370 RI

On the side of this case - 660372 RI

I may need to replace the input shaft. The bearing in the bracket mentioned above is shot and it may be cheaper to find a used shaft than to try and get the bearing out and fix the shaft.

Thanks.

Brian

Brian, Part numbers 660370R1 and 660372R1 was used on the 25(1955 to 1959),26(1957 to 1962) and the 27(1958 to 1961) series mowers. The 662022R1(Box,drive shaft bearing) part was only used on the 26 and 27 series mowers.

ihkovas, Thanks for the info. I am going to see if a local IH dealer can help with the bearing and/or shaft.

I thought maybe it might be a #32, I went out and looked at mine but could not find any numbers in the places you mentioned, that doesn't mean they are not there. Mine has too much rust on it for anything to be very visible, I just recently rescued it from a scrap heap. Could you post a picture of yours?
