Hello,We just bought a JD 336 and brought it home. The fellow we bought it from fed a couple of bales into it to make sure the knotter tied. It was running plastic and the first bales tied fine (didn't feed enough to have one out the chute) We started baling and the bale tension came up but the knots would come apart on the drive side. They were tied but very loose and would pull apart. We switched to sisal to see if the knots would hold and now the needle side won't form a loop. Looking at the twine discs, they are about 1/4" from the picture in the manual and they form 2 notches, the correct one from the notch in the disc and another from the holder arms against one of the "ears" of the twine disc. The twine is laying in the wrong one anyways and it would pickup the needle side when tying. Now the NH knotters have a nut on the worm/pinion shaft to adjust the timing of the twine disc. I can't see how the JD is even held together! Please help! Our borrowed baler goes home tonight!
