Hi,would anyone have a JD #9 3 point sickle mower that I could get parts from? Being new to this, I did'nt know the lower shaft was bent when I got it. Well, I know now why it vibrated so much. Could'nt keep the bearings snug, flew apart, need parts. Looking for: lower shaft (inside case) and pitman rod clamp - the wheel end(2 peices). Also a manual would help. Thanks, Greg.

Greg - new manuals and parts are available from your JD Dealer. They'll cost you some money but if you plan on keeping the mower, it will be a good investment. You can also count on some great help here! Neil

Dave H is right. Find a good #9 and keep yours for parts. I might have access to a complete #9 for sale. How close are you to Utah?

Cart before the horse. Since there are so many good mowers out there, why not buy one that is 100% and use YOUR mower for the parts. Not like they are expensive. Just a thought.

The part no. for that shaft is (AH 18268 H), and is the same on 8,8W,9,9W. Maybe you can find a parts mower somewhere. The pitman parts are the same on those models also.If you're talking about the flywheel end they were made 2 ways, with a bushing or with bearings, either will work with your mower. I think there is a manual on Ebay, if not there will be soon.
