VanBrunt grain drill parts?????

Does anyone know where I can get parts for vanbrunt drill. Im not sure of the year, its on rubber. I need the small metal flaps that ajust the seed flow????? Or would it be easier to try and make some? thanks.

Jed, my JD dealer has all parts available for the old Van Brunt/John Deere drills. I also got an Operators Manual, and a Parts Manual through the local JD dealer. The manuals are really worth it if you intend to refurbish the drill and keep it like I have. Use mine to plant wheat and oats every fall on my place and the neighbor's place. I also use the small seed box for planting bermuda, klein grass, love grass, and other small seeds. It will sow as little as 2 pounds to the acre. Get very good stands this way, much better than trying to broadcast.

John Deere carrys parts for them . Keep your eyes peeled for a parts drill , there getting old and harder to get all the parts for . There was alot of them , should be plenty in the fence rows . I still use one and it does a good job .
