JD 8300 double run drill ? small seed feed settin

The setting lever on the large side works fine. The setting levers for the smaller seed cup is missing about half the levers. They have been broken off. Been soaking them all with WD40 I taken the drop tubes off & I been trying to move them a little at a time, was thinking about buying new levers fron John deere & putting them on with my wirefeed welder just a bit of a tack to hold on & maybe be able to ajust the cup feeds on the smaller seed side. Anyone else been here too trying to get the rye seed or sudan grass seed so I can drill!!!

Stan; For the rye seed and others just use the large box for now and not worry about it till later when have tme to monkey with it. I will also be seeding rye in few weeks and I always run it thru the large box. Rick
