Unless it has been in some really ruff spots jump on it like white on rice. As said earlier once dialed in a great baler. Belts, gearbox, starter flaps are the main things to look at other than chains and bearings.

I just bought one this spring.Look at the belts! Look at the gear box for leraks. look at the pickup teeth they are not to bad to replace the bushing on the bars that hold the teeth you have to tear it all part thats what I did. the hydralic ram on mine I replaced it to .$ 5,000 I paid plus put money in mine.THEY work great just took me 2 days to fine the way that old machine wanted to bale hay then it went to town, The rubber flaps the are next to the drum wheel in bottom I had to bring it in to 1 in from flaps so it would not jam the hay & I have to start with a little hay in first tell the bale form then it EATS all the hay up I can goes fast in 4-5 gear in my 4230 & It takes it all IN!Hope these helps you a bit everyone else on here has been so helpful to me . HAPPY BALING ANTHONY
