Hi everyone,
I just bought a Massey Harris 2 bottom trailer plow. What little paint still on it is red and it has spoke wheels. I found "PE 2247" on one of the cross pieces between the two main beams. Other then flat tires the only thing wrong is a broken point. Can these still be found? Can manuals still be had? Will the hitch on the plow hook right up to my tractors draw bar? I have a '43 John Deere B but it looks like it needs a 1 1/2 inch hole. (I don't have the plow home yet). Finally, the hitch seems to work good. if you push the little lever on the bottom it will free up the hitch. I assume this will let go if you hit some thing hard but how does it work? Am I missing something here? Tanks in advance.
Dan.

I have a three bottom MH plow. I'm assuming yours goes back to the 40's or 50's. "Can these still be found?" I seem to recall a post about this. I think there's a farm supply outfit that sells them. I'd do a search on this site to see what's there.
"Can manuals be had?" Again, I'd do an internet search. I don't have one myself but then I don't use the plow either! HTH.
