Does anyone know how high of a ceiling you need to dump the load out of one of these units? I talked to a guy today about one of these machines and I was wondering if I would be able to dump in my poleshed.

Farmertee,

I don't know anything about your balewagon, but on my NH 1002 (I think that's the number). I am supposed to have about 13' clearance also. I have 12 foot clearance in my pole barn. What I do is carefully tip up the rack between the trusses where the clearance is much higher. I tip the rack to almost vertical and then I can back under the 12' clearance. It also helps if I don't stack the last tier 4 high. If I only put on 3 high, the top front bale won't hit the truss.
Just be careful and try it. The highest clearance requirement is when my rack is up about a 45 degree angle.

Good luck.

I cant speak for the exact 'spec' on a 1037. My 1034 calls for a minimum of 12'6" and it takes it all and then some (if there is one spot even an inch unlevel or an inch of old hay it makes for a whole lot more than an inch on cresting arc. I'd say that 13'6" would be better but this is speculation. I know a 1037 wont take any less. Width is just as important. If you run 36" bales you need 9' for bales and a foot on EACH side for wagon plus ever how good you are at backing. My narrow shed is 13'4" with 17' overhead and it fills the hole. My better sheds have 14' width and 17' overhead. Takes 20 mins off my turn around time. One thing about it, if you dont have the clearance, first tiime you dump you will have :-)

Hi, Go to roederimp.com, he has a speck chart for everyone made. This has been very helpful to me in trying to decide if I can use one. Bill
