finish mower blade

I need to remove the blades on my L59 Woods finish mower. I can not turn the cap screws that hold the blades. The blades have never been off and it is 15 year old. I know I will need to heat them, but I was wondering what is the best procedure to use to lossen it. Thanks

I use an electric impact to take mine off, although it did come with a wrench to hold the pulleys on top of the mower. MOST important, its LEFT HAND THREAD.

What do you mean when you say you can't turn them? With a wrench? or with a 6 point socket, breaker bar and a 3 foot pipe on it? I would not use heat on the bolt. I think with a pipe or an impact wrench they'll come loose.
