Need help removing gearbox in Bush Hog model 105.
I have the blades removed. Large nut on bottom of the shaft has been removed. How is the stump jumper attached underneath?

Thanks in advance,
JRF

Your stump jumper is probably stuck. Soak it good with penetrating oil. There are a couple of ways I've removed it. I would put the blades back on, tie a chain around the blades close to the stump jumper. Put the nut back on the shaft and place a bottle jack on the shaft\nut, and put the chain over the jack, then jack and the stump jumper should come off. If you have a torch, a little heat should help free it up. Just an idea, hope it works for you.
