NH 315 baler

Why is the 315 baler/70 thrower so bad ? Begin the 19th year and always miss at least 2 bales per wagon; Send it many times to different NH dealers but no one hit on the nail; it is always the twine on the feeding side that breaks; knots are okay.
Any idea ?

Rodger, if possible, open up your bale press a few turns. I know farmers love to bale tight, but if you would be willing to compromise a little tension, you will find that the knotters perform much better. I'm sure there is probably a fixable reason, but when you don't know what else to do, bale looser bales. Steve
