Super 68 Baler

I was halfway through my baling when my pickup stopped turning....on inspection I discovered that the spring loaded lugs in the knotter drive slip clutch assembly were frozen in.....these drive the pickup....got the parts.....but need to remove the guard behind the forward sprocket vicinity of the main xmsn in order to get at the slip clutch.....I cant get that sprocket to budge..... .any ideas out there ?.....I'm also looking for a Super 68 / 268-73 as a backup....must be operating and within 3 hours of KC.....

i had the same problem with a nh277 baler, drive pins are solid and new holland didn't recommend doing what i did,i took a 1/16 drill bit,bored a small hole as close to center of that pin as i could and filled it with wd40, waited for 10 minutes, then took a small finish nail, slapped it with a screwdriver,popped out and never had another problem with it, and done the other one two days later when we slowed down.

....well....I was worrying that sprocket when I decided to go dack up to those pins again....I took a small crescent wrench inserted it ideways then rotated it against the pin forcing it back in the recess further....I then squirted WD40 in the vicinity and continued to work it....finally it popped out..... during the process I noticed a very small weep whole on the housing....turns out that its a lubrication point..... sounds like what you described above..... it looks original but is nowhere in the book.....anyway....she's back together and ready for the second cutting..... ..thanks
