I have an old Case 2 bottom plow with iron wheels I am trying to restore as close to possible to original condition. What is the chance of finding some parts? I need a wheel and axle. Also, I need shares, moldboards, and landslides. I would love to find some literature on this plow like a parts list and schematic drawing to assist me in putting it back together. I know I need a lot but I think it is worth saving. It was a beautiful piece of engineering when it was working properly. Any help will be appreciated.

I have some parts laying around. Parts by me, even though I live 30 min from Racine, are scarse as hen's teeth, so I bought up a bunch of junkers and cut them up. What size bottom do you have? If you have 16" you can still get the old shares from CASE, about $80.00 each. As far as an axle, what do you need? I have a 3-14/2-14 on steel with the open lift, a 2-16 on rubber with oil lift, and a 3-14 on rubber hydraulic lift I use and at least would have parts that I could give you pictures of. I also have a parts book that would tell which parts you need interchange with the rubber tired ones.Jim

Thanks for responding Jim. My plow is a 14" 2 bottom. Standing behind the plow, I need the right side axle. I have the wheel and axle for the trip mechanism. Also I need the piece that one moldboard bolts to, I have one.I guess this is called the frog or something like that. I have one rolling coulter, one very worn point and one landslide. Let me know by e-mail how much you want for what you have that I can use. Also I would love to have a copy of that parts book. I am in the Virginia Tobacco country. My father purchased a new "Centenial" Case plow in the winter of 1954. I still have that plow and I used it this spring. I also have the sales literature (brochure) of those plows. My father converted it to hydraulic lift before he used it, and I converted it to throw away lathes. Where are you located as I can send you a color copy of that brochure. Don

Well Norman, I have 1 moldboard that is a bit thin, I'd take $10.00 for it. I have 2 that are pretty good, one of them is almost new(very thick), and I'd plobably want $40.00 each for them. As far as the axle, make me an offer on it. It appears straight and not worn too badly, and came off a steel wheeled plow.

Jim, Thanks for staying in touch. How about $125 for the two good moldboards and the axle. I can send you a certified check for these items.
