I only have 8n,9n and farmall H. I need to cut several ditchbanks mainly weeds and vines maybe young bamboo. I didn't know if sickle bar mowers would cut this, if not what will for old tractors like mine.

Should work fine. I use horsedrawn sicklebar all the time. cutter bar can go bout 20 degrees to negative if that makes sense. MIght want to take grassboard off

Be careful! You will be attempting the most dangerous task in farming! Walk the banks to find obstructions (stumps) and holes/washouts before you come near it with a tractor. Then mow very slowly. I just lost a fellow club member who "hit a hidden stump, and ended up under a brush hog" his wife found what was left of him hours later. My nickel Dick Davis
