Thank you for your advise on my previous post.I used the NH 56 rake to single wind row the hay once the top was dry. Sunday was windy and Monday was dry.Turned the hay over prior to baling on Monday. Put 120 bales in the barn. Only missed 2 Ties with the 24T Baler.

10 gallons of gas @ $2.00 gallon, 2 rolls of poly twine @ $12.00 each, 30 rake teeth @ $1.60 each,
half day vacation..... putting up 120 bales of hay up with my 78 year old Dad... priceless

10-4 on the priceless part.

I just got my 24T back together after taking out the right side on a fence post. While it was down, I bought a wire baler. I think the wire baler leaves little pieces of wire after the tie and cutoff that eventually get into the hay or fall on the ground. I don't like either option.

I really like the 24T but the rats eat the strings and that is intolerable.
