I'm just curius, what is the differance between the IH balanced head and the New Holland pitman less head. Which type of mower drives do ya'll perfer and why?

the ih has a small drive at the bottom where your knife hooks to that moves back and forth horizontally, these are very expensive to fix when they start chattering pretty good right before it shells out the entire drive system (it happened to me twice in two years, but i'm not a small operation baling on a total of 2700 acres)
last year i bought a newholland 450hs that has a crank and like it a lot better(knives are cheaper,
crank, bearings are a lot easier to get to for grease just an all around better mower in my opinion. now when you go calling around for a new holland 450hs they are going to tell you they never made one but thats not true-- they made about 500 of them. there is an advantage to the hs mine will run just as fast as disc mowers.
