I have acquired a Allis Chalmers sickle bar mower. This particular model has only the numbers T2652 stamped on it. It is a twin wheel. Does anyone know the particulars (adjustments and possibly a photo) that I can reference to in getting some parts.

In reference to the sickle bar mower A/C this mower has had new rubber put on and a complete set of sections replaced. It is a pull behind pin hitch, pto driven used on a ford jubilee currently.

Calvin,
I am going to guess that it is more than likely an 80 series mower. The first question is how is it mounted to your tractor and what tractor will you use it on? The 80 series tractors came out around the time of the D series tractors. 80R was rear mounted for tractors with snap coupler. The 80T was a trailer mower with large wheels. The 80R3 was rear mounted for 3 point tractors and the 80S was a side mounted mower. An update to these mowers was the 82 series. If it is a trailer mower with small wheels, that would be a #7 trailer mower and was I believe the first mower by AC to have the Twin Wheel drive. I don't know if AGCO still has manuals for these mowers or not.

I've got an AC 80 R rear mount with no wheels. I just wanted an AC sickle mower. Should have gone with a JD that I grew up with. This thing is a beast, VERY heavy on right rear wheel. Know why they went to a wheel. Also very hard to hook up and unhook. Two days ago it literally almost killed me by toppling over when I unhooked it. I thought I had it blocked properly, but upright bar missed me by inches. Want another? Please be careful!

Dell,

Where are you at? I may be interested in your mower if you want to get read of it.
