Got one today with the Rotary Scythe (flail-type mower)in a timothy field. What a bloody mess, literally. We have too many deer around here, but still don't like to see them go that way.

only in the last couple years have I run anything through our haybine. The first was a SKUNK. Cut it's head off and only took that, while the other 2 sprayed, and then last year I caught a red-winged black bird and a mother mallard in the same day. Last year I ran over a skunk while cultivating. It sprayed the tractor and I didn't even kill it.

My dad got one with a haybine once. Had to pick everything out & unplug the machine.

A new born calf and a bush hog don't make anything pretty either.
