ARE THEY ANY GOOD? I CAN JUSTIFY A TEDDER BUT I'M LOOKING FOR RAKE WOULD LIKE TO GET ONE THAT I CAN FLUFF HAY AND SPREAD WITH SEAMS TO ME A ROTORERY RAKE WOULD WORK GOOD AT THIS? THIS MILLER -PRO 100
IS PARTS AVALABLE? WHO MAKES IT? ARE THEY KNOWN FOR ANY PROBLEM AREA'S?

I have a Miller 1150 rake that I've used on chopped up straw from a rotary combine to alfalfa to marsh grass. It has worked without any problems for 4 years now. I have used it with a Vac Case mainly even though they recomend more hp. It does a nice job of standing the hay up to make fluffy windrows. It is made a lot heavier than a lot of other brands. It is made in Wisconsin. My dealer doesn't stock much for parts but is only 1 hr from the factory so getting them is no problem. If you are looking at a 1100 (older model) make sure it has the updates for the crank handle & gear box. If you have a choice get one with the tandem axles to keep the tines out of the dirt on rough fields. Their web site is www.millerprofarm.com
