I have a IH 31 mower that needs a new cutter bar. I has been sitting for 15 plus years and the cutter bar has bent a bit above the holdup bar and when you lay it down to cut, it has a crown in the center. This makes it hard for the knives do their jobs and keeps pluging on me. Does anyone have any ideas how to get the crown out or do I need to find another bar, and where would I find one. Thanks in advanced.
P.S. I'm located in central Iowa

I bought two IH 31's and made one good one, I have several parts left over. Let me know what you specifically need. I live in Arkansas but make many trips to Moberly, MO. I would meet you somewhere if you need parts. be sure your gear boxes are good or you are wasting your time & Money, everything else is available at TSC or a good farm supply store

I can't help you out much, other than to suggest removing the bar and taking it to a machine shop with a large press. They may be able to straighten it out.
If you find a good source for parts, let us know, I have a #32 to restore, it is the same mower I believe as yours, except it is a trailer type.
