Help! Vicon OM241 Mower / Coditioner

Viewing the machine from behind on the left side there is a vertical drive with a protective shroud. The clearance between this shroud and the vertically mounted 'blades' on the conditioner is about 1 inch maximum. Twice the shroud has deformed or broken and the 'blades' which I think divert the grass into the conditioner have been damaged or knocked off.Anyone had similar problem and what was cause / cure.

I"m sorry but I cannot help you.you might be able to help me.i have just bought a second hand OM 241 but i can not find an operators manual or parts book. these books are as scarce as hen teeth. would you know where I could get a copy of these books?

the Vicon CM 165 is a good one. 5 1/2 ft. cutting width.
