Hay Dr.,
I saw on Vermeer's web page for the Rebel balers an option called "Hay Deflector". I only found out today from this web site what the Restrictor plates are and was curious what a Hay Deflector is also. Can you explain this one to me?
Thanks in advance.
Mike

The hay deflector is goes above the pickup reel and behind the gear box. It is to keep hay from riding up the belts.

Yes you are correct. Out of 96 balers we sold last year none had that option.
