I just got a John Deere #32 hay conditioner and having trouble with it plugging up and not conditioning the hay that well. Has anyone used one and where can I find a manual? It seems to work ok if I have the hay almost dry and in a wind row I first tryed it to see if it would work at all but when the hay is just cut by a sickle mower it plugs a lot and if I back up it seems to just pick the hay up fine . Thanks for any help Jeff

I've got a JD 21 conditioner that I've started using and have been suprised as so far it hasn't plugged once while the Vemeer that I used last year did quite a bit.

One of the things the manual says to help avoid plugging is to raise it as high as you can while still picking up all the hay. Maybe that will help?

I use it pulling right behind the 7' sickle mower.

I have the operator's manual OM-E32806. I can either photocopy it or scan into electronic files and email it to you. The manual is a total of 13 pages.
