M1 is a casting suffix. You probably have a #32 mower.

Richard,
Drop me an email. I might be able to hook you up with the names of a couple of salvage yards that are not too far from you. If you are anywhere near Hillsborro, go over to Kadditz Auction Yard. He is located between Hillsborro and Lake Whitney and the equipment lot where the auctions are held at is on I-35 between Hillsborro and West. I haven't lived in Texas nor this area since 1985, but do travel through there because it is close to where the farm is where I plan to either move back to or commute to very often hopefully very soon. Also, we have a couple of IH mowers on the farm, along with some other equipment. It might be possible that something might swap out.

Another place to look would be at either Gebo's or TSC. If you know of someone that sells TISCO parts, they used to have all kinds of aftermarket stuff in their catalogs.

Jim
