Tonight we actually got to bale some hay (245 bales). It's a little tough, but we were on our last 3 bales of bought hay. If the rain holds off, we may be able to finish one feild tomorrow night. The forecast keeps changing, last night they said rian tonight, not they say maybe tomorrow morning, more than likely tomorrow evening around 7. Crossing my fingers, hoping we can get the rest of what I raked, but otherwise I guess we'll have to wait another week. Ain't bad considering there's alot of flooding in our area.

Amazing contrasts here, from NW Nebraska checking in with 1" in a year to our recent rash of water (after the drought), to flooding.

Guys trying to get the wheat in here are up to their axles in mud on the combines. The 1st cutting of hay I got in got rained on 4 times but thanks to a tedder, it came out quite nice considering. One thing, it was definitely cured.

I was surprised with how nice ours turned out considering also. Got rained on every day, but I guess it's better than every-other day. We finished what I had raked tonight, now we have 1 more feild left, but it started to sprinkle as soon as we backed the baler in the shed. It didn't rain today though like they said it would, so I'm hoping they're wrong with the rest of the forecast.
