What model #'s were the beggining models that used belts instead of chains? I am interested in buying a round baler to make high moisture baleage, but I am not familar with NH model # so I never know if if is a chain or belt baler when I see one advertsied.

The 800 series were the chain balers, the 600 series belt (630/640/650/660) and newer (644/648/etc). First ones came out around 1990. My dad and I each have 650's of '91 vintage.
