coming up for sale. 1 yr. old, no problems (not the bent roller one) for $6500. I'm interested. Anybody know anything good, bad or evil about'em?

We can sell you a NEW LELY 280 for $5500 or the a New Vermeer 8030 for close to the $6500 new.

The Kevlar curtain and the heavier blades are all that's different on the Vermeer and Lely. The parts are 100% interchangable.

Love to deal with you but I'm 6 hours away & looks like transportation costs would eat me up & if I needed warranty work.... Any way you could work thru a closer dealer?

Bob, If I were you I would drive the 600 miles to get a NEW machine, before I would spend the same money on a USED machine. As to your fear of warranty work, you will have to pay for all work on the USED one. I had rather risk paying for repari work on the NEW one. Just my thoughts.

this mower only mowed 200 bales & guy sold out entire outfit to present owner, who doesnt need it. So its like new, but I'm weighing things. thanks.
