HELP WITH MY MOTT FLAIL MOWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi I have a Mott hammer knife flail mower that came with my 1951 Ford 8n. It worked like a champ I used it to mow my property and neighbors as well. However, it vibrates alot and sounds like it is binding up I restored the deck above the blade roller and opened the rear cover on the differential( the bearings look fine.)yet when it is engaged it will not run smoothly. Have you lost a knife? When they get out of balance they shake and rumble like that.

Yes. I have changed some of the old knives with some new ones but did not have enough to finish the whole roller. Thank you for the advice I never really thought about that.
