I am looking to buy a USED small round baler that makes @900lb bale. It seems in my area most hobby farmers want a bale they can pick up with a 8N or compact tractor. What is everyone using and recommending?? Thanks, Kent

I use a NH 650, it makes a 4x6 at 1500 but I run it at 4x4.5 for round bale silage and for hay to sell. I'd probably run a 640 but the 650's sell for less (more people want the smaller balers, higher price) and I like the tension system better on the big baler.
