I am in need of a hay probe to take samples of small square bales, large square bales and large round bales. Would like suggestions of what type to use.

HEY!! Probe!! Ouch Doc that hurt. The stuff you have to put up with when you get over 40..

Sorry that was the 1st thing that came to mind. And dang sure not good for testing hay.
just got done with my 1st one. We have to do that every year??

Dave; I use a probe from Hodge Products called Hay check. call 1-800-854-3565 or go to www.haychec.com. The one I used from extension always bent on me. Rick

What kind of samples (cores, temp, moisture)? Makes a world of difference.
