Okay, here's the scenario... I have a 640 Autowrap round baler that has been working just fine up till recently. We were making 4X4's and all was going well. All of a sudden, my bales started coming out about 2.5 to 3 feet in diameter. I had to re-adjust my settings to get my 4 foot bales. At the same time I noticed several other things. My bale counter stopped working, and the slide indicator that shows the amount of hay inside no longer goes to the top of it's scale when I eject the bales (it used to go all the way to the printed "Stop" marker when I ejected the bale). I know something moved, but what? It continued to run okay after I re-adjusted (except for the things I mentioned) and we put up another 160 bales without incident. Didn't hear anything unusual, no vibrations or anything. So, what do I need to check out? I looked through the manual and didn't find anything that pointed to this particular problem. Any help would be appreciated! Ron

I'm sorry Ron, but round balers are not my expertise. Steve

Thanks anyway Steve. Got some tentative info from my local dealer yesterday, some things to check. Basically the guy told me if it's working okay now, don't mess with it. But I still worry that it could be something going that will finish going at the worst possible time. Maybe someone else here will see this and say, "Hey, I had that happen once!". Meanwhile I'll just keep looking and checking things. I'll let you know what I find, if and when that is. Thanks again.
