Well, my Case 300 tractor (311) is home and on the way I stopped and picked up the plow my grandfather used when he bought his 1957 300 new, along with the plow and harrow.

About the plow, I know nothing about it. I am guessing it is a 1957, since that is when he bought the tractor and he got them both new.

It seems to have a "break away" set up. I am guessing if you hit a rock, the 3 point connection disconnects from the plow. Is this right?

Also, it seems that the bottom half was green and the top half orange. Anyone really know?

As for the harrow, it is just all rust color.

Any knowlage about these would be great

You are combining the terms used with both the pull type (Drag) plow and the mounted (3 point), the 3 point does not have a breakaway coupler as does the drag that disconects from the tractor, on a 3 point with breakaway feature and not all have it if you hit something it will just trip the 1 (ONE) beam or bottom that has hit, some are spring trip and others are shear bolt. The 3 point does not disconect from the tractor, you are confusing the eagle hitch clamp with a breakaway coupler
