Woods RM500 mower eats belts

I have a Woods RM500 mower for my Ford 4000. I have replaced the belt on the mower two times already. Each time the belt is shredded before it finally breaks. I have been buying my new belts from Tractor Supply rather than Woods. The belts are not as expensive from Tractor Supply.

I am looking for any suggestions as to why the belt is being shredded. A visual inspection does not show anything to be out of the ordinary. HELP..... ..... ..

Check your pulleys for alignment,rough edges and wear. Buy the Wood's belt,run it for 10-20 minutes check the adjustment,set it if needed,run it for an hour and check the adjustment and set it if needed.the TSC belts,while the same size are not made of the same materials as the OEM belts,they tend to stretch,slip,and generally not last under severe use. Also if you are using the mower for something it is not designed for,or being overpowered by the tractor pulling it, no belt will last.An RM series mower is a finish mower for short grass,not for field mowing or bush hogging.
