Our club is looking for baling wire for an old stationary hay baler. Does any one know where to buy something like this. We make our own now, but would like to find some ready made.

Roger, check farm supply stores in an area where there are a lot of Amish (as Hutchinson, KS.) as they (most) still use this type baler....Good luck

Will, thanks for the info. I am looking for the straight wire with the pre-made loop. They used to come 250 ties in a bundle. I have recived many E-mails telling me where to buy a roll of baling wire. I guess not many people are old enough to remember the old "block & tie" balers where everything was done by hand. I have used all of the ties my Grandfather saved.

That is the kind we got. 10 ft. long, 14 ga. with a loop on one end.
