I have never heard of a JD 45 baler. Its wire tie square baler. Local guy is selling one that has sat of a year for 1500 bucks.

If it is working, what's it worth or better what should I pay for it?????.

I think you're missing a 3rd digit. Deere did make a 456 16"x18" square baler, in twine and wire versions. Same vintage as 336 and 346 14"x18" balers. Never see any 16"x18" balers around here, but sometimes a 346 wire baler shows up, and $1500 is about what they bring. So I'd say his price is about right, as long as the thing is in working order.

Thanks Tim. I never heard of a 45, must be a 345. Thanks for the price info also.
