Just checking my NH 66 that I bought at an auction late last fall and when I run the knotter through its cycle only one side ties. The right side ties alright but the left side is not tied. I can see where the string is flattened from the cylce of the knotter but no knot. The book does not talk about this . Any ideas ?

Paul, can you help us with a little bit more info. Does either end of the string have a loop on it or are both ends untied? If one end does have a loop, which one is it? Any other specifics would help me. Let me know and I will try to help. Steve

Steve; Neither end has a loop or knot in it. Both pieces look flattened like they went through a motion but no knot. I will have to get sombody to turn over the baler as I watch more closely. Hard to do myself.

As with all knotters, a number of adjustments be causing a missed knot. I would suggest you check all clearances via the book and compare the two knotters at each point of the cycle as you hand cycle the machine
