Have a super 68 baler. The bars on the pick up arm ride in bushings that wear after a while. The bushings are welded on a round disk. What is the best way to replace these?? Thanks Dick

Hi Steve: Yes, I know what fun it can be to take that pick up shaft out!! I.m trying to not have to do that. Can bushings be gotten from a NH dealer , cut in half, and then welded in?? Thanks for your service on the internet. You are a great help to a lot of people. Dick

Sorry Dick, but NH has nothing for you. I'm sure a machine or weld shop can make you split bushings. I have no other solution for you. Steve

Hi Dick. Of course New Holland would want you to replace the complete disc, but I agree with you. Just replace the bushings. How you ask? Well Dick, have lots of fun!!!! I can't help but smile as I think of all the fun you are going to have tearing apart your pickup. Unless you can come up with a 2 piece bushing, you pretty much have to disassemble the pickup to do the job. Have fun, Steve
